How the risk score works

Cap or Not generates a score from 0 to 100 based on detected risk indicators. The score does not represent the probability that the opportunity is a scam — it represents the number and severity of risk signals found. Every score comes with a breakdown of what was detected, the evidence, and what you should do next.

• 0–20: Low Risk — few or no risk indicators detected.
• 21–40: Generally Low Risk — minor signals, worth verifying.
• 41–60: Caution — several signals warrant careful review.
• 61–80: High Risk — multiple major warning signs detected.
• 81–100: Very High Risk — proceed with extreme caution.
